Michael Smith Comments on EPA’s Renewal of Dicamba

Last week, the Environmental Protection Agency announced it would extend the registration for the pesticide dicamba for two years, automatically expiring December 20, 2020.

Dover Dixon Horne member Michael Smith told Bloomberg Environment “the EPA’s announcement shows that there was a problem with the initial approval.”

He added, “You could conclude, it would be a reasonable conclusion, that the previous requirements or applications were inadequate.”
