Cal McCastlain and TJ Lawhon to Speak on Estate Planning for Farmers and Ranchers

Cal McCastlain and TJ Lawhon will speak to how attorneys can help farmers and ranchers protect their assets and transfer them to heirs at a November 14 National Business Institute seminar held at the Hilton Garden Inn North Little Rock.

 McCastlain will focus his portion of the seminar on income and gift tax planning through various lifetime gift and sale structures and transfers upon death. Lawhon will focus his presentations on Business Structure Choice and Conversion and Agricultural Use Valuation.

McCastlain and Lawhon will present with Ashley Stepps, an attorney at the Raymon B. Harvey Law Firm.

The three will explore the challenges and opportunities unique to estate planning for farmers to help make good sense of difficult legal and financial situations.
