BIOGRAPHY
When it comes to family law, Adrienne Griffis has established a reputation as an attorney who helps her clients navigate highly sensitive and complex issues. Adrienne’s approach is simple – she is dedicated to giving each client the attention they deserve by listening and applying her experience as a family law practitioner to help them achieve the best outcome possible given her clients’ unique situations and needs. Her passion for understanding and helping others contributes to her approach to representing her clients throughout a divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, or guardianship matter, among others.
Adrienne represents clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, real estate, contract, and probate and estate matters. Adrienne also has an active appellate practice and is experienced in representing clients with respect to appeals in numerous areas of law.
In addition to her law practice, Adrienne is actively involved in the legal community where she speaks and writes frequently on family law matters. For instance, she has presented continuing legal education seminars on topics including premarital agreements and ethics and has been a featured speaker at the Arkansas Bar Association’s Annual Meeting on multiple occasions.
Adrienne is also actively involved with the Arkansas Bar Association, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Mock Trial Committee and Vice Chair of the Family Law Section. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pulaski County Bar Association and the Arkansas Mock Trial Foundation and is the Treasurer of Collaborative Family Lawyers of Arkansas. Additionally, she is a member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the William Overton Inns of Court.
Adrienne was highly regarded coming out of Baylor University School of Law, where she served as a senior executive editor of the Baylor Law Review and published an article, titled “Cyberbullying in Texas: Reform is Needed to Keep the Virtual Playground Safe.” Prior to commencing her legal career, she was a market research analyst for iGR, a market strategy consultancy focused on the wireless and mobile communications industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Central Arkansas.
Outside of her legal career, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and three dogs; fitness; and volunteering with various non-profit organizations.
