Open Positions

Dover Dixon Horne PLLC is a full-service commercial law firm in Arkansas with a history dating back to 1925. We are searching for a part-time (Monday, Tuesday and alternating on Wednesday) office Courier to assist the firm in various duties and to ensure the proper care of confidential materials. Legal couriers are entrusted with the responsibility of picking up and delivering time-sensitive documents and packages. In some cases, couriers are asked to file documents with the court, which means navigating the courthouse to file pleadings in the proper division, in a timely manner.

Job duties would consist of the following: courier runs of often time-sensitive materials, managing incoming mail, and provide back-up to the receptionist. The role of a courier involves moderate physical activity therefore, the candidate must be able to lift to 25 pounds.

The applicant should have dependable transportation, a good driving record and proof of insurance. The candidate should be energetic, organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and flexible. Additional duties and responsibilities may include:

  1. Transporting various items to and from various locations and vendors, ensuring proper care of items handled during transport.
  2. Prepare, set-up and arrange conference rooms for client or staff meetings.
  3. Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to ensure that they reach the recipients that they are intended for.
  4. Wrap, seal, affix postage and dispatch all outgoing mail in accordance with postal guidelines.
